The first book in the four-book series “Tales of King Environ & The Kingdom of Ment” is titled “Virgil’s Lesson”. It was written in 1989 and copyrighted in draft book form in 1994, all rights reserved. Fast forward to 2018 and momentum is building to fully illustrate, publish and distribute “Virgil’s Lesson” by year’s end 2019, something that seemed impossible 24 years ago.

The remaining three books will follow starting with “The Cities of Daylia & Nightean” in 2020, “Sufuric Stinkingdom” in 2021 and in 2022, the 4th and final book “The Great Mother Of The Sea”. This last story will take the reader full circle, connecting all four storylines into a common theme.

As the main title suggests the plot of the “Tales of King ENVIRON and the kingdom of MENT” concerns the environment. Each of the 4 stories’ will reveal and address a different environmental challenge facing our world.

The stories were written to appeal primarily to the K-6th grade age group. However, there is a much broader audience made up of the self-declared “Stuarts” and “Caretakers” of our planet who know each of us must do our part; including passing down that wisdom to future generations.

In the end, ALL of us must learn the lesson that Virgil learned (spoiler :-) “you can’t get rid of one thing without hurting another, for all things are connected each to the other”.
